This blog is maintained by Chris M. Jolley, DDS of Cascade Dental. our purpose is to better inform the public of the importance of oral hygiene.
Dr. Jolley has practiced dentistry since 1992, when he graduated from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry in Seattle, Washington. Before dental school, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish.
Dr. Jolley’s interest in Spanish came from serving a church mission in the Dominican Republic.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Jolley served his country in the United States Public Health Service as a commissioned officer. The PHS stationed him in Browning, Montana for two years, where he provided dental treatment for American Indians on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. There he received unique cultural and professional experience.
Desiring to learn all he can to treat his patients he became a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, through which he has received hundreds of hours of continuing education.
Enjoying an active lifestyle, one could find Dr. Jolley running, swimming, biking, hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, or gardening. He enjoys serving in the Boy Scouts of America. His desire to create has lead him to drawing, playing and transposing music, photography, landscape design. His latest artistic release is writing a novel.
He lives with his wife and five children in American Fork.
